Meet your instructor
Dr Fiona Scotney
I started my career as an Art and Humanities secondary teacher. I loved teaching young people, writing and being creative, and left temporarily to do a PhD.
That move led me to more professional writing, as well as tutoring and guest lecturing in universities, and on to the Australian Public Service where I worked in learning and development, and capability development.
I embraced a secondment opportunity managing programs in the tertiary sector for post graduate students and decided to stay, moving into developing community building, leadership and professional skills programs for undergraduate students.
I continued writing, and started delivering presentations at conferences, facilitating workshops for professionals, and taking on consulting clients.
I have 20 years of experience across education. I can help you tell your story and cultivate your creativity.
